Water Lily Flower

Fanart illustrator Brigitte Gonzalez was inspired to draw the water lilies because in Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, Lotus Pier is the residence of Yunmeng Jiang Clan, Wei Wuxian's clan. After his family was destroyed, Wei Wuzian started his own clan hidden in a dark place where there was only mud. So he planted the water lily to remind himself of how happy he was when he was young at Lotus Pier and also to give the same atmosphere of peace for his clan. The water lily is often used as a symbol of peace and serenity.
In many cultures, the water lily is also seen as a symbol of rebirth and renewal, as it is a plant that grows in water and often blooms in the morning, representing the emergence of new beginnings.
